At the Realisation Key Point 2 (RKP2) as the fourth milestone the continued realisation and validation of the GTRF had to be presented.
Within this meeting the following Work Packages (WP) were reviewed in detail:
- "GGSP Prototype Maintenance Report" (WP500) - The update procedure of the
GTRF as well as the quality of the other GGSP products (orbit and clock combination
results) was presented.
- "GGSP Prototype Maintenance Validation Plan" (WP610) - The detailed plan for
the validation of the continuous processing and weekly combination as well as the
prospective GTRF realisations was explained.
- "GGSP Survey Report" (WP650) - The GGSP survey report deals with the network
of GNSS permanent stations in general and individual aspects of each site.
Furthermore, the following WP status reports were discussed:
- "Validation report concerning local ties" (WP640) - Results of the independent
local tie checks were illustrated.
- "GGSP Development and Operation Plan" (WP700) - The recommendations for a
permanent GGSP with detailed architecture, costs assessment and links to the
international services were discussed.
- "IGS combination software for handle GGSP solutions" (WP660) - The adaptation
of the well-established IGS combination software for the GGSP needs was explained
by the Canadian colleagues.
- "Report on special studies and investigations" (WP350) - The progress in software
development and testing was presented by the Chinese colleagues.
